Healing begins with being seen
Healing often begins when you feel noticed, understood, and connected to someone who truly listens. That’s the environment I aim to create — a space that, over time, becomes safe enough for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and the patterns that keep showing up.
I’m Karen, an integrative therapist working in a trauma‑informed way. Together, we pay attention to your safety, stability, and emotional regulation throughout, and shape the work to meet you wherever you are in your journey.

Who I work with
I support adults, young people, and families who may be noticing the impact of earlier experiences showing up in their daily lives — through anxiety, low self‑worth, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from themselves.
I also support people who are neurodivergent or exploring their neurodivergence, and families finding their way in understanding the needs that come with this.
Some people come with a clear reason for therapy. Others simply know something doesn’t feel right and want a safe place to explore that.
Much of my work involves gently noticing with you how past experiences, including trauma or difficult relationships, shape present patterns, so you can feel more grounded, connected, and more like yourself.
Starting therapy at your pace
Beginning therapy, or returning to it, can feel daunting. You might be unsure whether this is the right time or whether I’m the right person. That’s completely okay. Therapy is a space where we move in a way that feels manageable, and where your voice matters from the very first session.
You don’t need to share everything at once. Therapy isn’t about unpicking your whole life; it’s about exploring what feels manageable and meaningful to you. Over time, this can help you process emotions and experiences that once felt out of reach, and respond in ways that feel more you.
